Yes, I'm awoke.
It's wake, not woke. 🙂

not woke.

The good intention
Wokeness began with something worth honoring: caring about injustice, wanting every person treated fairly, staying alert to harm. Those instincts are good, and we share them.
woke (adj.): aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues, especially issues of racial and social justice. Merriam-Webster
The missed delivery
Too often, feeling aware stopped short of results. Labels and outrage took the place of facts and measurable outcomes. And a movement meant to heal ended up dividing.
One letter changes the tense
Change the o to an a. Woke is past tense: done, arrived. Wake is present and continuing: we keep checking facts, measuring what works, and acting on it.
wake (v.): to rouse from sleep; to be or become alert, and to act. Merriam-Webster
We wake up. Not woke up.
The world we build, level by level
Opt in one level at a time. Each level is a set of tools. Add the ones you want, when you want them.
The world is what we choose to build at every level. Families and communities of shared conviction are the fundamental units of society. The person grows within the family, and the family within a community gathered around shared convictions (believers or not), which serves its neighbors on up through block, town, nation and world.
Each level strengthens the one above it and answers to the one below it. It works both ways.
